Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care planning.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Ensure availability and organization of necessary supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Maintain timely and clear communication with patient families throughout procedures.
• Update and manage physician preference cards and department protocols.
• Perform scrubbing duties and assist physicians during surgical cases while supervising nursing personnel.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting with prior travel experience.
• Proficiency in operating room procedures and adherence to AORN and regulatory standards.
• Experience delivering care in line with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for a collaborative care environment.
• Flexibility to take on-call duties for nights and weekends as required.
