Audio Visual Specialist II - TEMPORARY

Senspex is seeking to hire an Audio Visual Specialist II (Temporary) for our team at the NTC in Ft Irwin, CA!

The Audio Visual Specialist II produces high-quality audio/visual content for various client needs. This role involves researching, preparing, editing, and producing materials for closed-circuit TV or IPTV. This position collaborates with clients to determine the best media format for their requirements, selects music and sound effects, and oversees the production process. Leadership responsibilities may be part of this position.

Join the Senspex Mission Support team, dedicated to supporting critical military operations at Fort Irwin, CA. As an Audio Visual Specialist II, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our mission and develop your technical skills.

This position is classified as union, full-time, hourly, and subject to the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. The position is temporary, and not expected to exceed five (5) months. Should the expected length of this position change, or should an offer of regular employment be made, the selected candidate will be notified in writing.

What you'll get to do as an Audio Visual Specialist II at Senspex:

• Technical Skills
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various audio/video equipment, including mobile units, teleconferencing suites, and field operations technology.
• Editing: Edit, dub, and degauss audio/video materials using both linear and non-linear techniques.
• Photography: Capture still images using standard cameras, lighting equipment, and proper techniques.
• Computer Proficiency: Operate PC/MAC workstations and related software.
• Production Support
• Production Assistance: Assist in the development and creation of new audio/visual projects.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and field personnel.
• Documentation: Prepare required documentation according to established procedures.
• Field Operations
• Field Deployment: Operate equipment in support of field operations, including training exercises and military ceremonies.
• Vehicle Operation: Safely operate motor vehicles on and off public roads, including in challenging conditions.
• Live Event Coverage: Film live fire missions and other events as required.
• General Responsibilities
• Adherence to Standards: Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the customer or supervisor.

The qualifications we require:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current California Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), or willingness to obtain a CDL

Other requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work within the United States
• National security clearance: This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects/programs
• Must possess acceptable forms of identification under the REAL ID Act
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test
