At Clark Pacific, the Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for testing concrete materials before, during, and after production to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Working closely with the Quality team and production personnel, this role performs testing, inspection, and documentation to verify materials conform to mix design requirements and industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
  • Perform concrete testing including sampling, temperature, weight, density, air content, slump, and strength testing.
  • Conduct cylinder and grout break testing and analyze results.
  • Perform aggregate sieve analysis, moisture testing, and cement set testing.
  • Maintain and monitor data from the concrete monitoring system.
  • Perform insert and miscellaneous metals inspections and standardized testing.
  • Ensure testing procedures comply with ACI, PCI, and IAS standards.
  • Document and report testing results accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate findings and quality concerns with Quality Control Inspectors and production personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and compliant lab environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in concrete, construction, manufacturing, inspection, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to read production drawings, blueprints, and use measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Ability to use testing equipment and maintain accurate documentation.
