Nutrition Attendant

Provides technical support and perform essential clerical duties associated with the service of normal and modified diets to all patients. Assists the clinical dietitian with patient needs for tray line and records calorie counts. Checks patient tray line to ensure all patient trays are correct for diet and menu choices. Acts as a liaison between nursing and food and nutrition services regarding meal and tray services.

Required Qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training - Training in basic food preparation.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training - Successful completion of college courses with content including therapeutic diets, medical nutrition terminology, and anatomy or equivalent educ/experience. 
• 6 months - Related experience.
