Currently, Nexgen Staffing is seeking a talented Order Processor / Material Planning Assistant to join our team. Below are the details of the role.
Order Processing:
1. Accurately enter and manage customer orders in the company’s system.
2. Verify order details, including quantities, pricing, and shipping information.
3. Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely shipment of orders.
4. Communicate with customers to confirm orders, update on delivery schedules, and address inquiries or issues.
5. Maintain accurate order records and generate reports as required.
Material Planning Assistance:
1. Support the material planning team in monitoring inventory levels and forecasting needs.
2. Assist in creating and updating production schedules to align with order requirements.
3. Communicate with suppliers to track and expedite material deliveries as needed.
4. Analyze usage trends and provide recommendations for inventory replenishment.
5. Assist in identifying and addressing material shortages or surpluses.
Requirements:
1. Read and write in English
2. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
3. Proven experience in order processing, material planning, customer service, or a related role.
4. Proficiency in using order management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
