Personal Lines Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join a team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional service to our clients by addressing their insurance needs, answering policy-related questions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. This is an in-office position, offering the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative and supportive team.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in clients and over-the-phone inquiries.
- Assist customers with policy questions and advise on coverage options.
- Process policy changes, including adding/dropping vehicles and drivers.
- Pull renewal and new business quotes for personal lines insurance.
- Process payments and ensure accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to manage an alpha-split book of business, handling accounts ranging from $1,000 to $30,000 in size.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in personal lines insurance.
- Language Skills: Spanish proficiency is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS 360 software.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Work Environment: This is a fully in-office position.
