Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Post Harvest Lead to oversee our post-harvest operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with METRC regulations, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of Post Harvest Technicians. If you have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience in post-harvest processes, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
✅ Supervise & Lead:
- Oversee Post Harvest Technicians, providing training, guidance, and support.
- Ensure all team members follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
✅ Compliance & METRC Management:
- Accurately weigh and track harvested products using calibrated scales.
- Manage inventory in METRC, ensuring proper tracking, UID assignments, and compliance with state regulations.
- Coordinate and document METRC transfers for product movement and sales.
✅ Inventory & Sales Coordination:
- Work closely with sales and inventory teams to track product availability and fulfill orders.
- Prepare and package orders while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
✅ Process Improvement & Quality Control:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the post-harvest area.
- Monitor quality control throughout the drying, trimming, and packaging processes.
- Assist in implementing process improvements for greater efficiency.
✅ Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a key liaison between post-harvest, sales, inventory, and compliance teams.
- Provide updates on workflow, delays, and improvement opportunities.
✅ Physical & Work Environment:
- Work in 60-90°F with 50-80% humidity for extended periods.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, work under bright lights, and handle water/irrigation systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
✔️ Must be 21+ years old.
✔️ Familiarity with METRC tracking and weighing equipment preferred.
✔️ Strong attention to detail, leadership, and communication skills.
✔️ Ability to follow SOPs and ensure compliance.
✔️ Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and extended shifts as needed.
