Mission of the Seat:
The mission of the Project Manager is to support the Operations Manager by ensuring the timely delivery of quotes, accurate order entry, meticulous attention to detail, and consistent follow-through on Caltrans, CIP, JOTC, and other high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Task Management:
· Review take-offs for accuracy and support the preparation and distribution of Order Acknowledgments, Certificates of Compliance (COCs), and client communications. Assist the Operations Manager in driving project turnaround.
· Monitor and track project progress to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met.
· Support issue resolution by troubleshooting project challenges (RFIs).
· Act as a sales representative by engaging with prospects, preparing quotes, and bringing in new clients to support business growth.
Documentation & Reporting:
· Prepare regular project status reports, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones.
· Maintain project documentation and ensure records are up to date.
· Assist in risk management by identifying risks and reporting them to the senior management team.
Stakeholder Communication:
· Act as a liaison between the project team, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
· Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding the status of the project and any issues that arise.
· Ensure that stakeholder feedback is integrated into project planning and execution.
Resource Management:
· Assist in the allocation and management of project resources, including team members and materials.
· Monitor project expenses and resource usage, ensuring the project stays within budget.
Quality Assurance:
· Help ensure that the project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
· Support the team in conducting tests and reviews to verify that project outcomes align with objectives.
