Telemetry Technician - North Telemetry *Full-time / Night*

Performs cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia detection through continuous observation of the Central Monitoring system as a primary job responsibility and performs department clerical duties as a collateral responsibility.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and successful completion of Dysrhythmia Recognition Course.
• Coursework/Training and required to either have completed the “Basic Arrythmia” course or have demonstrated experience in rhythm interpretation.
• Coursework/Training and will require applicants to complete ECG test prior to job offer being extended.
• Coursework/Training and will be enrolled in an internally-developed online course as part of orientation. 
• Coursework/Training and will have periodic competency assessment.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 

Preferred qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Coursework/Training and Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
• 6 months of experience in a hospital environment.
